There are a gazillion and a half small historical museums like the Maison Saint-Gabriel here in Quebec. However, according to this article the Maison Saint-Gabriel recieved 65,000 visitors in 2006. Or to put it another way they dealt with roughly 76 people per hour, every hour that they are open, or more than one per minute.
For comparison purposes, the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal received 175,000 in 2005-06, or slightly less than three times the amount of visitors.
