Howdy!
It appears that they are going to sell off some of their collection. And my guess is that it is going to go down with nary a peep, which is unfortunate. I wonder who donated the prints by Andy Warhol and David Hockney and the watercolour by Louise Nevelson that they are selling at Sothebys. And more importantly, I wonder what they think, and all future donors to Museum London will think if they know that their donation could be sold at any time just because the museum thinks itis a good idea at the time.
If you would like to see them, there are two Hockneys, lots 480 ($15K-$20K) and 481 ($8K-$12K), two Warhols, lots 635 ($60-$80K) and 653 ($15K-$20K). I couldn't find any Louise Nevelson watercolor belonging to Museum London that was going to be sold.
And if Sothebys asks you to sign-in, you can always use bugmenot.com
